Environmental Policy
As proud members of the FSC we are committed to a sound environmental policy and now have chain of custody for FSC hardwood, plywood, sheet materials and carcassing timber. For more information about the Forest Stewardship Council please follow this link
All our carcassing timbers are from the Viking Mill in Southern Sweden, conforming to Pan European Forest Certification (P.E.F.C). For more information about the PEFC, and what is involved in gaining certification please follow this link.
All stocks of Joinery timber and mouldings that we hold are again produced via FSC approved mills in Sweden and the United Kingdom.
Sheet materials we stock, OSB, MDF, and flooring grade Chipboard are FSC approved, and so marked on the crates.
The Chilean plywood we sell complies to ISO 14.001 1996, and therefore is acceptable to PEFC grading rules.
The Brazilian hardwood plywood we stock is grown on plantations
and therefore none of it comes from forests.
